Redownloading Tracks

(Please keep in mind that our label agreements limit this redownload period to four hours). During this time feel free to reattempt the download of any track(s) that may have been damaged or cut short during delivery.

We do our best to provide our customers with quality music from the top dance labels around the world. We do not normalize, re-master or engineer our files in any way. The music available on our site is a true reflection of the received WAV file straight from the label. As the standards of quality differ for all labels, so will the music they produce. Releases available from mainstream artists are expected to be mastered professionally simply because they are likely to have the resources to do so. However as we continue to proudly support the music of independent artists/labels, this may not be certain. Not all masters are necessarily a fair assessment of our artists' standards, but rather the resources available in producing them.
If you believe you have discovered a faulty or mislabeled track please report the issue to us by contacting us through the 'Ask a Question' section of our knowledge base. Be sure to provide us with your username, the track name, your order number, and the track times to any distortions or skips.

A lot of our employees are DJs from all ends of the spectrum- from basement DJs, to club residents, to DJs who have toured all over the world. Even our CEO Jonas Tempel holds a residency on Saturday nights at Beta, and regularly tours with Bad Boy Bill. And those of us who don't fall into the DJ category are at the very least, electronic music aficionados. So we all know how frustrating it can be to listen to a track that you absolutely love, only to find out that it's not available in your territory.
As many of you may already know, these restrictions have always been around, but were just not as noticeable as they are today. For example, in the past when you went into a record store to buy your music you only had access to what the distributors were allowed to sell. Similarly, the agreements that we have made with our labels can limit the areas where a release may be sold if it is already available by another, more prominent label in those regions. Release dates can vary from label to label as well. Some releases that are available in all territories may not be available everywhere at the same time. In fact, a lot of the limitations that we deal with now are still based on standards that were set by physical distribution. We are working hard to change some of these outdated practices, however, we always try to keep in mind and respect the fact that our labels are trusting us with their most valuable asset.
At the end of the day we are all here for the music, and we would love to see worldwide rights on all tracks. Until that is possible, we feel that keeping a more extensive label catalog brings us one step closer to reaching our goal. For the time being, we recommend looking for territory restricted tracks under the "ALL" search function. Sometimes the tracks will share rights with another label which is available in your region.

In the United States and UK buying a track from the site is just like buying a record from the record store. The same legal implications are in effect. However, certain regions have different restrictions regarding the legality of playing Digital Music files. We suggest you visit the website of your local publishing / mechanicals service to get a more detailed answer. We also recommend that you keep a copy of your order receipts with your music to prove that you have purchased your music legally.

If you only want to purchase a portion of the tracks in your order we recommend using your crate as a wishlist substitute.
You can accomplish this by following the steps below:
- Go into 'My Account'
- Click 'Edit Delivery Preferences'
- Select 'Instant Download'
- Click 'Submit'
- Click 'Check Out
- Once your crate summary is listed click the play icon next to the track you would like to purchase.
- Once the track begins playing click 'Buy' in the preview player. (This will start the download automatically)
- Remove the track from your crate

Burning a CD Using iTunes
Download iTunes
- Open iTunes (drag purchased music into iTunes library)
- Insert a blank disc
- File > new playlist
- Drag and drop files into the new playlist
- In the bottom right corner, press the button that says 'Burn Disc'.
Burning a CD in Windows
Another option is to use the default burning program within Explorer for Windows XP and Vista. This method is reasonably simple, but it isn't the best for audio CDs:
- Insert a blank, writable CD into the CD recorder
- Open 'My Computer'
- Double Click on your CD-RW Drive
- Copy/paste or drag your selected files into this window
- Click 'Write these files to CD' from the CD Writing Tasks window
- Fill in a CD Name (optional)
- Click 'Next'
- Click 'Make an Audio CD (for standard audio CD player)'
- Click 'Next'
- Click 'Start Burn'
